This case study describes how PHOcus on Health provided full management services for a PHO that wanted an alternative to their existing MSO. PHOcus on Health is now assisting that PHO to transition to independence.

Manaia PHO utilizes the services of PHOcus on Health on an occasional, ad hoc and project basis. Manaia PHO is not in need of comprehensive management services, as these are more than adequately provided in house.

PHOcus on Health has been called on to work with Counties Manukau DHB in a number of areas, including Maori Health, Planning & Funding, Mental Health Development and Primary Care Development.
